Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple, comes to Kauffman Center on Nov. 19 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program.
HEMP pairs KC-based entrepreneurs with seasoned mentors, who help them master crucial skills. More than 300 business owners have participated in HEMP over the years. On average, their companies experience a 43 percent increase in annual revenues. HEMP says that its participants have created more than $748 million in economic impact.
In addition to Wozniak’s talk, HEMP will reveal the name of the first inductee into its HEMP Hall of Fame, a new honor presented to local business mentors.
